Workshop On WordPress 8th & 9th December, Mumbai
Learn to create, design / re-design your blogs with WordPress at this two days event, being held at Infotech Academy, the Educational division of InfoBahn, Mumbai on 8th & 9th of December 2018.
The event is a hands-on Workshop so we expect you to carry your own laptop and try out everything taught in the sessions under the supervision of the trainer and the volunteers. There would 1 volunteer for every 15 attendees.

We will give you a temporary website to work with.
- Buying & Setting up domain & hosting
- A short introduction to WordPress
- Blog v/s Website
- An upcoming update to WordPress, version 5.0 (Major changes)
- Creating posts with media and galleries
- Adding videos to posts
- Creating pages
- Adding a contact form to your website
- Setting up & managing a menu/navigation bar
- Adding themes & plugins
- Free v/s Premium themes
Day 2: 9th December 2018, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
You can work on your own website (if you have one) or the temporary website, given?on day 1.
- Customizing the colors and fonts
- Customizing the layout of the website
- Transferring data from your current site (ex: Blogspot / WordPress.com to a fresh new site)
- Adding an Instagram feed
- Adding a Facebook feed
- Adding social media icons
- Basic SEO setup
- Stats and subscription
- Questions & Answers (Last 20 mins)
